Dr. Marie-Claude Poirier Chiropractor
My passion for chiropractic began long before it became my profession. As a medical student at Université Laval and a triathlete, I discovered chiropractic after injuries that were limiting my training. That experience changed my path: I left medicine to pursue my doctorate in chiropractic at UQTR.
After graduating in 2005, I practised for 16 years in Victoria, British Columbia, before coming home to Laval in 2021. For the past 5 years, I have had the pleasure of caring for people here, of all ages and from all walks of life.
I approach the body a bit like a biomechanical system: I like to understand how joints, muscles and movement interact, then look for what can be improved. More than 20 years of practice have taught me one thing above all: no two patients are alike. My techniques and adjustments therefore adapt to the person in front of me, to their mobility and to their needs at the time.
For me, looking after your mobility is part of a healthy lifestyle. Whether you come in for pain, a limitation or simply to keep moving well, my goal stays the same: to give you attentive, tailored care that respects your body.
